By combining the advantages of local disk-based backup (instant recovery) with offsite backup (insurance against local disasters), the SonicWALL CDP Series is the first solution to eliminate, not just mitigate, exposure to threats of data loss.

The SonicWALL Offsite Data Backup Service for the SonicWALL CDP Series provides a hands-free, hassle-free offsite backup and recovery solution that stores data in a secure data center to enable organizations to be up and running quickly after a disaster event. All data is transmitted and stored with an AES 256-bit encryption key that is only known to the end-user. Data is restored directly to a CDP appliance will point and click functionality in the event of a disaster.

SonicWALL CDP Bare Metal Recovery/Local Archiving

Bare Metal Recovery (BMR) software creates an exact image of an entire server or workstation, including operating system files, programs, databases and settings. An entire system can be recovered in minutes through an easy-to-use wizard-driven graphical user interface. Additionally, the BMR software provides local archiving capabilities that allow organizations to store snapshots of their data for extended periods of time to meet industry and government compliance regulations.
