How does the Discovery Manager work?
Discovery Manager interrogates the contents of the live
email stores, searches amongst Deleted Items, supports
delegated supervisor searches and helps to meet the latest
e-disclosure legislation and associate legislative rules.
Search within live Exchange stores
Discovery Manager accesses information on an Exchange system
while it is live ensuring all current information is
searched.
Discover all content in Exchange
Discovery Manager looks into folders, mailboxes and
subfolders of mailboxes to ensure all relevant information
is discovered.
Search for deleted items
Rapidly retrieve items from dumpsters which users may have
deleted inadvertently.
Find and search local and central PST files
Discovery Manager carries out full searches within PST files
with total accuracy.
Search by any combination of over 70 criteria, including

Discovery Manager is driven via a Microsoft MMC interface so

on custom mail header properties.
